The Abeka curriculum is an advanced, back to basics program with an emphasis on mastery of fundamentals. This curriculum has been written by Christian men and women with many years of experience in Christian education.
Abeka is consistent with the Biblical principles on which it is founded and provides for the individual needs and differences of each student. This curriculum begins in our classroom of two-year olds and continues throughout our program. The Abeka curriculum places a strong emphasis on phonemic awareness and early literacy skills. Gorman ELC chooses to supplement this curriculum with research based thematic study units and structured learning centers.
All of our preschool programs use the Abeka curriculum supplemented with research based thematic study units. Gorman ELC also uses Kidspring Bible curriculum. All preschool students attend chapel service each week and have Bible lessons daily in their classroom. Links below for more information
